Some holds a belief that parents who have good skills in parenting, can reduce the criminal rate among the young. From my perspective, I partly agree with this standpoint. In this essay, I will analyse my opinion and give explanations for my point.
On the one hand, having parenting skills is nescessary for those who have children. The fact remains that children who have educated by good parents, will become successfull citizens. For instance, if parents teach their offspring about humbility, honesty and love, when maturing, the young will never be bad individuals because they know which is bad or good. Furthermore, conscious children reflect how their parents taught them. To be more specific, for example, young criminals always have unhappy families and they lack love and care from their parents so that they don’t have particular feelings for people around them. Additionally, because of temptations like video games and gambling, young children will do illegal things to meet their purposes.
On the other hand, not only parents can impact on their children’s awareness, but other factors also do. In daily life, young people will socialize with numerous people at school and on the internet so they may be obssessed with bad things by bad people, such as 18+ websites, tobacco, alcohol, gore videos and so on. Thus, these things will influence to children which can result in psychological issues. Moreover, educating the young at school is also essential but teachers cannot teach children about cognition and moral extensively. Therefore, children have to steer clear of bad temptations.
In conclusion, I believe that parents should have good parenting skills, however, young people have to develop themselves not to become criminals.
