One of the most topical issues in modern society is child education. A common opinion is that they should be given at least 6 years of primary education for free. However, other people feel that it won’t be good enough. In this essay, I will examine the fact and give my overall opinion.
Generally speaking, there are two main reasons why people feel that it is necessary to make primary education free. Perhaps the main reason in favor of this idea is because it can reduce the proportion of poverty in a developing country. In addition, it is difficult for a child of a developing country to go for education, as they live under the poverty level. But when they get the opportunity to learn without any cost, they happily take this opportunity and develop their skills, which they can use at their workplace. Moreover, they can keep themselves far away from committing crime. This is because, when they are busy at their work, they can’t find enough time to do any crime-related activities.
Despite these arguments, there are those who think that students of developing countries should provide their higher secondary education free as well as primary level. The main reason for this idea is that it will increase their future earnings. For instance, when a child joins their workplace without having proper skills, they won’t find any promotion in their later life and will do the same work day after day. But having proper skills from the higher secondary level, he can easily get a promotion in his office.
