Many people believe that it is the most effective method to educate kids how to cooperate is through team sports at school. While I argue that it is truly a good way, I am also of the opinion that there are various other method to assist children learn cooperation.
It is undeniable that organising team sports at school is beneficial for children to learn how to cooperate. Firstly, it provides a bunch of valuable chance for children to have more understand about their friends and learn how to work together to attain goals. Secondly, taking part in a team sport helps children improve their communication skills which play an essential role in cooperation. For example, when they play football and basketball, they will have to communicate with one another in order to win the match. By practicing communication, children can improve their ability to cooperate with other people.
However, I hold the view that there are many other great ways to help children learn cooperation. Firstly, teachers can organise some discussions in class about an urgent issue which will provide an opportunity for students to exchange knowledge and find the most suitable solution to this problem together. As a result, children will get closer to each other and improve their teamwork skills. Secondly, assigning presentations to students is an effective way. In order to get good acadermic results, children must divide work among themselves and work together to complete tasks. As a result, they can improve their teamwork skills.
In conclusion, although participating team sports at school is a good way to learn cooperation, I still hold the view that there are many other ways which are more effective.
