To start with, the total number of minutes used in 1995 was around 72 billion. This figure witnessed a steady raise and reached a peak was 90 billion minutes in 1999. However, this number decreased significantly to approximately 72 billion minutes by the final year.

In 1995, national and international calls accounted for nearly 40 billion minutes, and this figure rose significantly to 52 billion minutes by 2002. Mobile calls had the lowest recorded minutes among all categories in 1995, at around 4 billion. However, this category saw a remarkable increment of approximately 41 billion.
