In today’s world, pollution is increasing day by day. However, some people think that government should be the only one who is responsible for reducing and fixing this issue, while others argue that companies and individuals should contribute and pay for cleaning that contamination. I partially agree with this notion, as I think both government and the community have to cooperate together to solve the problem. This essay will discuss my point of view with relevant examples.
On the one hand, the air and water contamination has surged siginficantly over the past years. Authorities have the major role to treat this pollution. Renewable energy factoires should be supported by governments in order to make them affordable by all citizene. Taxes should be reduced or make it easy for them to get permitions that could improve the factories production. For example, Germany decreased the taxes for solar panel industry.
On the other hand, wealthy people and enterprises that have a large revenue should cooperate with local government and pay for cleaning pollution. Money could be paid to policymakers directely and they have the right to spend it on anything that can dip the contamination, or companies and rich people could organize campaigns that contribute and assist governments to sovle the pollution issues. For example, in 2000, Elon Mask donated $5,000,000 to the US government in order to clean all litter in New York city.
In conclusion, although air and water contamination are supposed to be government concerns , big enterprises and businessmen should contribute and help the authorites to make it possible.
