Depletion of natural resources is a dangerous problem faced by the world today. There are main causes associated with this phenomenon including, increasing human needs day by day and high expensive alternative resources. Viable solutions to overcome these causes would be invention of alternative resources and introducing incentives to encourage people by government.
One of primary cause of this issue is that human requirements are rapidly elevating. Nowadays, population growth is the increase in the number of humans on Earth. Commensurately, natural resources are consumed to fulfil human necessaries without thinking about other resources. As a result of this, our future generation is going to lose natural resources. To tackle this issue, government or private sector should introduce different resources to fulfil people needs. For example, recent research has indicated that electric vehicle is the ideal solution to reduce consumption of fossil fuel. On the other hand, it leads to decreasing air pollution.
Another cause that needs to be considered is that other resources are more expensive and poor people cannot bear it. In fact, there are many alternative methods are available to use instead of natural resources. Unfortunately, these methods are cannot used by some people due to its high cost. To mitigate this problem, government needs to encourage people to use them. They can introduce bank loans, discounts, or instalment payment methods. For instance, there is evidence to suggest that many countries have introduced bank loans and different payment methods to people in order to buy solar power as solar power equipment’s are very expensive. Now using solar power become ubiquitous in these countries.
In conclusion, growing people requirements and spending more money to use alternative resources are critical problems faced by the world. On the other hand, introducing new resources and involving government to give incentives are possible solutions to overcome above mentioned problems.
