This essay will discuss the hazardous and positive impacts of usage of mobile by children.
Gadgets like mobile phone, Tablets, and laptops with internet availability has become the integral part of every life. Parents use them for their professional and personal interests so that children too have developed the habit due to their curious nature. Furthermore, many schools have mold them to virtual learning system due to which students even at Montessori level use them while playing games in schools and completing online tasks. Their learning and knowledge are quick than their peers. For example, my niece she is just 3 years old and she told me new trends going on social media aaps and new animated movies must to watch. So, it is a fact that one cannot deny the presence of mobile phones in today children.
On the other hand, often use of mobile phone has negative impacts upon physical and mental health of the children. There are lots of eyesight and mental disorders have increased. It causing their intelligence and mental growth retardation. Sometimes, mothers at home engage their children with mobile phone without purpose and any check and balance system. They do not bother about screen time of their children.
In conclusion I believe that technology and its interaction with children is not hazardous but the way they use it have bad impacts upon them. Mobile phone must be given to children with restriction to kid’s content for new learnings to go with the flow of modern age. Mobile phones in hands of children are not bad but the way they use it matters. It’s not necessary to detach them from digital world but to make them a positive contributor and user of this.
