Band 6+: The gap between the rich and the poor is increasingly wide, as rich people become richer and poor people grow poorer. What problems could this situation cause? What are the solutions to address those problems? Write at least 250 words

Nowadays, there is a noticeable gap between wealthy and unprivileged people, because rich and poor people’s lives level increases every year. It would have consequential issues such as corruption, social unfairness, and inability to follow a healthy lifestyle.

One of the main problems of rising rich people’s level is social rights. Students who have rich parents, can study in luxury schools and get a better education. While poor families have to study in state schools and cannot obtain extra courses. As a result, students who never face an educational challenge would easily win the scholarship, which divided equally all rich and poor students by the government. The poor students again stay at the bottom of society and they cannot allow paid education for themselves. One possible solution to this problem is to give everyone equal access to education and fair chances of success. For instance, the government could provide free extra courses and financial support for students from low-income families.

Being poor makes it difficult to lead a healthy lifestyle such as eating healthy foods, living in an adequate house, and maintaining hygiene. Mostly rich people avoid state hospitals, leaving them primarily for poor people, usually public facilities often suffer from understaffing and ineffective care. As a result, disadvantaged people cannot receive complete treatment, which increases the risk of spreading infection disease. The most effective way to solve this problem is to provide accessible healthcare by the government and create financial safety nets for poor families. So the government should make free medical treatment and give insurance for financial safety until they make their condition better.

In conclusion, the widening gap between rich and poor people can create some problems in education and healthcare. Therefore, the government should provide equal access to education and medical treatment for poor families. It can help reduce social unfairness and give everyone a better chance in life.
