In today’s world, whether the government should pay for everyone’s university education is a highly discussed topic. Some people think higher education should be completely free to give equal chances to all students. However, others believe that it would cause too many financial problems for the country. In my opinion, I think the government should only help students who really need it, rather than paying for every person.
On the other hand, there are good reasons why free university is a popular idea. The main benefit is that it helps poor students get better education. If tuition fees are canceled, talented students from low-income families can study to become like doctors or engineers without worrying about debt. This is good for the whole society because an educated population can help the economy grow and reduce poverty.
On the other hand, making university fees for everyone has big advantages. First, it costs a huge amount of money. The government would have to raise taxes for normal people or take money away from other important areas like hospitals or roads. Second, if university is totally free, too many people might go. This could make degrees less valuable because there will be too many graduates looking for the same few jobs. Lastly, wealthy families can easily afford the tuition fees, so the government does not need to spend public money on them.
In conclusion, while fee education sounds like a great idea, it is not realistic for the government to pay for everyone. Instead, a better solution is to provide free tuition only to poor students and give scholarships to hard-working teenagers. This way, money is not wasted, and everyone still gets a fair chance to succeed.
