The line chart illustrates data on the changes in the average prices of three metals namely copper, nickel, and zinc in each month of 2014. Overall, while zinc and copper witnessed a negligible change in their prices by the end of the period, nickel saw the biggest shift.
Nickel experienced the biggest shift in its price in February at 6%, decreased dramatically to 1% in March, remained constant until next month and again saw a fall to its all-time trough at -3% in June. In contrast, zinc price-change followed a different trend, rising to 3% in February, decreasing to to -1% in June with a slighter rate.
Copper saw a similar trend as nickel, decreasing from 2 in the first month to -0.5% in May. Notably, all the three metals witnessed a three-month stability in their prices from July to September. Eventually, their figures fell negligibly until the next month and increase until the end of the period.
