Overall, there was an upward trend in China, while the opposite was true for the UK, Japan, USA which a downward trend. In particular, that of China was always highest over the period shown.
As can be seemed from the chart, the number of cars produced in the UK and the USA was 200 000 and 300 000 respectively in 2020. Following that, there was a slight decrease in the figure for the UK to 180 000 in 2025 and continuously fell significantly until 2035. At the same time, that of the USA drops gradually to 200 000 in 2025 before continuously declining substantially from 2030 to 2035.
