The line graph illustrates the number of cars manufactured in four different countries, namely China, the UK, Japan, and the USA, from 2020, with projections up to 2035. Overall, it can be seen that there was a clear distinction between the given countries at the beginning of the period. It is predicted that the number of cars produced will have declined significantly in Japan, the USA, and the UK by 2035, while there will be a gradual increase in China.
In 2020, Japan led in the production of cars with around 350,000 units, which has since increased to just under 400,000 today. However, it is projected that car manufacturing in Japan will sharply decline to a low of 100,000 by 2035. In contrast, while China currently has the lowest car production, it is expected to rise and claim the top spot with about 150,000 units manufactured by 2035.
In addition, the number of cars manufactured started at 200,000 in the UK and 300,000 in the USA, respectively. They have since stayed at relatively the same level of production, about 200,000 today, and it is then predicted that the number of manufactured cars will have fallen significantly to under 100,000 by 2035.
