It is often argued that whether science should priorities improve the human society rather than pursue other goals. In my perspective, I agree with the statement that the most important aim of science is to benefit people’s lives.

The research for human can be a strong motivation in different area of science. The result that we used nowadays are all design for human as the major reason, such as smartphones, transportation, or phone applications. For instance, the reason why car has invent is to solve the need for sustainable transportation. The benefit of the research ultimately benefits the society. The solution always comes with a question at the beginning, and the question is often what human has struggled with.

Most of the problems in the world are related to human. The relationship had lead to the innovation of technology. As a master student, my biggest goal is that my study can contribute to the human being, no matter the contribute is small or big, that the lesson I learned from my supervior. For example, there are lot of technology equipments that could support disability, such as depth, or the people who loss their voices. Scientists based on these issues and come out with the solution. Although the result might not be perfect, but ultimately it will improve people’s lives.

In conclusion, an aim can driven and affect research direction, and the strongest motivation is to solved the problem of human. Finally, the science results will improve people’s lives and benefits the world.
