In 1990, the proportion of Japan was roughly 25 percent and later dropped notably to 20 percent in 1995, before gradually declining yearly until reaching the bottom at around 18 percent in 2012. The exportation to the US between 1990 and 2000 fluctuated around 10 percent, before sharing a similar trend of decrease with Japan in the period, making the US the third in exportation of Australia with nearly 7% in 2012.
In contrast, the exportation to India and China observed an upward trend, starting with around 2% for the former and 3% for the latter in 2012, before soaring gradually to over 6% and 30% respectively in 2012.
