In various nations around the globe, several grocery stores tend to sell the imported products to the customers rather than selling the ones being produced in the home country. While this offers a few advantages, there are also few disadvantages worth considering.
There are 2 main benefits of selling the imported products to the customers. Firstly, the purchasing price of the products are highly expensive when they are being sold in other countries rather than the home country. As a result, the production company earns a profitable amount than the investment cost. In addition, people in their home countries can purchase and taste the products without even travelling to many countries. Consequently, providing a way to enjoy the food or snacks at your place without even travelling much.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages to be noted. In the first place, the individuals of middle class family usually become less impulsive of spending their money on the imported products as they are sold significantly at a higher price. As a result, it would lead to reduction of sales at certain countries leading to loss for the company. Additionally, the market value for the products being produced by the home countries declines. As a result, the labourers of the country, will receive a lesser salary than the one they use to get. Consequently, this will make their lives more challenging
In conclusion, selling the imported products across the globe results in a profit and it also provides a way to buy and experience the goods by buying it from the local stores near you. However they also decline the production rate at the other countries paving a way to other imported products
