Some people assert that countries should take immediate action to decrease the consumption of fossil fuels. I completely agree with this opinion.
People who argue against this action have some clear intentions. Almost all those people have an economic prospect and seek to gain profits in a frantic pace. Although, it is true that due to the convenient use of fossil fuels in various industries, it might be more profitable in short terms, it is not a wise choice in long run. If governments start investing money in renewable sources of energy, like wind and solar energies, they could achieve more economic profits after a couple of years. Those modern methods of energy generation require a primary investment, but the cost of their maintenance would be far less than other costs related to fossil fuels, including extraction, processing, transportation, and so on.
On the other hand, it is essential to reduce usage of hydro carbonated fuels. Burning of these energies has caused significant tolls on our environment, such as air and sea pollution. These pollutions could have fatal consequences for human beings and animals. For example, scientists have found that pollutants that are being released in our air, water, and soil have a high connection with acquiring of cancer. By a global action and commitment, we can create a healthier environment for today and future generations.
In conclusion, I believe that the consumption a fossil fuels is a concerning phenomenon, and while it has a few economic advantages, it is more reasonable to embark on using alternative modern sources of energy.
