Although, many people believe that the ask of a sudden decrease in the consumption of fossil fuel by the international community to the public is not realistic. I firmly vote in favour of the laid statement. My reasons are justified with example in ensuing paragraphs.
Out of all the arguments, the strongest one to prove my viewpoint is , rapid usage of fossil fuel is causing major pollution among the world. This is to say that the majority of countries are facing the problem of air pollution. In simple terms, residents of delhi are currently facing breathing problems because of polluted air. Moreover, extensive usage of fossil fuel is creating global warming across the world. For example, studies have found that due to climate change arctic snow is melting at record levels.
Another compelling reason for my position is, fossil fuel are limited. To clarify, it takes years to refill the source of fossil fuel. In addition to that, a large number of industries are dependent on gasoline as a source of energy. For instance, India is importing crude oil from other countries.
On the contrary, some people counterclaim the mentioned support. The foremost argument they make is, that it is impossible to switch to natural resources for energy consumption overnight. Furthermore, there is not enough infrastructure to produce the required amount of energy. To exemplify, there is a lack of adequate charging stations in countries such as Srilanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
To recapitulate, although, renewable energies are the future as well as they are the cleaner source of energy, it is hard to act on fossil fuel immediately by stop using them or ban them using as energy source.
