In today’s world, the modern family structure and roles of each member have changed. While this tendency has a positive effect on families; however, a negative effect should not be underestimated.
To commence, the mothers role of the family is changed significantly, resulting in an increase in the family budget and better welfare. For instance, if the fathers are the only source of the family income with an avarage salary, family member can meet only their basic necessities; however, if the mothers tend to be employee on different fields, they can start invest, save money, purchase assests and go beyond the daily living.
On the other hand, a lack of time can be a negative impact on families as a result of changed family structure. What I mean by that is parents cannot take their time for children, which have a detrimental effect on children’s current and future mental health. Nuclear families, for example, consist of one or two children, are the result of the lack of parent’s time. In doing so, children not only suffer from a shortage of parental care, but also cannot find siblings in order to communicate or play. In doing so, children face difficulties in regars to being social and communicate their peers.
In conclusion, the alteration of family structure and roles has a positive influence in terms of better well-being, nevertheless, there is a possibility that the children will raised with lack of manners.
