Band 7+: The money given to help poor countries does not solve the problem of poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Currently, some individuals believe that the money given to help poor nations does not address the problem of poverty, so wealthy countries should give other kinds of help instead. In my opinion, money could eliminate poverty if it might be invested in education and agriculture.

First of all, money is likely to solve the problem of poverty if it could be paid for education. The grant money that would universalize education to the general population can be used to construct more schools and provide fees for poor students. When these nations have a more educated population, they will be able to create a more productive workforce. Highly qualified labor may contribute to economic development. For instance, Angola has been successful in using grant money from the US to invest in building public and private schools and increasing the standard of living of its inhabitants.

Similarly, Money will find the solution to poverty if it could be invested in agriculture. In other words, the government could use grant money to improve soil or install irrigation systems and buy more seeds, these activities will boost agricultural production. Having plenty of rations could help the inhabitants have enough food and clean water to drink. With a crop of high quality, citizens may even have a food surplus to export to other countries, thereby generating additional income for individuals as well as income taxes for the government. For example, Nigeria used World Bank subsidies to buy rice and potato seeds, thus helping reduce the occurrence of famine.

In conclusion, money is one of the solutions that can resolve the problem of poverty. Therefore, the government should apply money to education and agriculture to improve the quality of inhabitants’lives.

The money given to help poor countries does not solve the problem of poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is a view that well-off countries should provide poorer countries with other types of opportunities to resolve their issues rather than allocating money itself. While some people oppose this notion since less better-off nations boost economic growth by gaining financial aid, I strongly argue in favor. Admittedly, in order to remedy the situation of […]

The money given to help poor countries does not solve the problem of poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Poor countries cannot escape from poorness even with the fact that successful countries donate them money, so they should find other ways to help. I completely agree with that statement because money can disappear on a way for citizens, but help like educational support cannot be stole. It is a known fact that the main […]

The money given to help poor countries does not solve the problem of poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many feel that foreign aid cannot address poverty in underdeveloped countries, and therefore, there should be more viable measures. In my opinion, although money cannot eliminate poverty completely, financial support is largely effective if it is invested in education and agriculture. To begin with, sponsorships coming from developed nations can be allocated in education to […]

The money given to help poor countries does not solve the problem of poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Less-developed countries don’t tackle financial issues by receiving money from richer ones; developed nations should aid them by means of others. From my perspective, money can eradicate poverty if it is invested in education and agriculture. Money can solve the problem of poverty when rich countries put money into the education systems of poor nations. […]

Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The issue of financial aid to poor countries has sparked considerable debate in recent years. While some people believe that monetary support is beneficial, I strongly believe that direct financial aid does not solve poverty and developed nations should provide other forms of assistance instead. One of the main reasons for this is that poor […]

In some areas of the US, a 'curfew' is imposed, in which teenagers are not allowed to be out of doors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult. What is your opinion about this?

In various city centres of the United States, “curfew” is applied for teenagers so that they donot step out of home after a certain time at mid-night untill and unless they are with their gaurdians.
