In recent years, data on the amount of the older generation is rising day by day. In my opinion, there are more benefits rather than drawbacks.
On the one hand, I believe this situation will inevitably bring detrimental impacts. Firstly, the government must provide a lot of equipment for healthcare and facilities for elderly people, possibly spending a lot of money because on average an increased age is possible for them to have many diseases . Another negative impact, lack of productive ages make one country difficult to develop aspects such as technology because they have less knowledge. For instance, commonly advanced countries have a lot of adults to create new technology that have a big impact in the world like China.
On the other hand, this condition surely leads to some positive impact which gives opportunities for adult and young generations to get a lot of professional jobs such as teacher, doctor, lawyer, and other kinds of jobs because a lot of elderly people have pensions. Furthermore, the old community can share and give advice to the younger generation. Therefore, they can learn from their stories. For example, if we are in problems it might be good for us to talk to them, they can be good solvers and good partners for sharing stories. Moreover, there is an increase in volunteer jobs. For instance, involved in program reduction and plants and help children to create handicrafts such as crochet.
In essence, I believe that the situation where the population elderly rises will bring more positive sides. Even though there are some drawbacks like the government must spend a lot of money for facilities and also lack development of technology in one country. I think that there are more benefits such as, giving opportunities for jobs, giving advice and increasing volunteer jobs.
