Band 5+: The plans below show the layout of a university's sport centre now and how it will look after redevelopment.

The given diagram illustrates the current layout of a university sport centre and its proposed changes for the future.

Overall, it is readily apparent that the institution will undergo significant changes with enlargement of the sport centre and introduction of modern facilities like sport shop and Cafe.

Presently, the sport centre consist of a main building with a reception at the entrance. There is a 25 meters pool at the centre, with the changing room to the west of the pool, a gym to the north and a a sitting area east of the pool. There are two entrance ls from the reception leading to the changing room and sitting area respectively. All these facilities are to remain unchanged. In addition to this, there are two outdoor courts on either side of the main building.

Moving on, in the development of the sport centre, the two outdoor courts will be demolished and the sport complex enlarged under a single roofing. The reception will be expanded and a sports shop and Cafe are to be built Southwest and Southeast of the reception area respectively. The outdoor court to the west will be remodeled to an indoor changing pool with its changing room. The other is to be removed to make room for the gym extending eastwards. Also, there is the addition of a sports hall and dance studio with a new changing room south of them.

In conclusion, the centre is to become modernized and multifunctional with the addition incorporation of new amenities.
