In many countries, rapid population growth has become a pressing issue, creating various problems in people’s lives. This issue lead to negative consequences such as overcrowding and increased unemployment rate. However, there are several decisions that can be taken to maintain a high quality of life despite these problem.
To begin with, I want consider a reason; why the population is growing so fast. We have the countries with go down economy such as India, and almost all countries of Africa continent. In these countries the population is very large, and overcrowding puts immense pressure on public services and these lead to air pollution. For example, in cities like Mumbai high population has led to traffic weight and accidents, which of course, has led to pollution. Additionally, rapid growth reduce the number of essential resources for daily routine such as clean water, food, and gas. Therefore, increasing populations in such countries have led to a lower standard of living and country with bad environment.
Another mainly impact is the rise in unemployment among citizens. As the populations grows, the job market becomes is more competitive, to find good job with high salary is difficultly for people, especially for young people. In some countries, where unemployment rates are already high leading to increased crime rates.
To maintain a good quality of life and to mitigate these problems, governments should implement effective laws and policies. Firstly, investment in education and family planning programs is key of problem. For instance, Thailand’s government successfully controlled population growth by promoting the benefits of smaller families. China’s government also made special laws for reducing population and birth, there where forbidden to have more than one child in families. Secondly, government should to create more workplaces, it is can help to reduce unemployment. Strategic economy planning can turn population growth into advantage.
