However, I believe that this advancement has triggered issues regarding unemployment and private PRIVACY BREACHES. To solve these issues, MANY SHOULD BE AWARED OF THE NEW REQUIREMENTS IN THE JOB MARKET; also, the government plays a vital role in bringing out regulations to protect users’ privacy.
Initially, unemployment can be attributed to the replacement of AI in some physically demanding jobs. Despite buying AI chips or robots may be a tremendous investment in the initial period, these robots can replace many workers, enabling enterprises to save up money that was used for salary. According to a CNN business survey of executives, 47% of the attendants said that using AI can cut down their expenses to 40%, which can be spent on other categories.
Furthermore, the data leak is one of the most alarming problems that AI causes/is associated with, especially in systems that use biometric recognition. It is undeniable This type of recognition undeniably simplifies login processes through fingerprints or facial features, but it is more likely to pose the threat of being hacked. Since hackers just have to collect the AI codes and data of the biometric features, they may print and easily impersonate the users or even sell the data to others without being noticed by the users. By collecting AI codes of biometric data, hackers can easily impersonate users or even sell such information without their knowledge.
To solve unemployment caused by AI, individuals HAVE TO work alongside/cooperate with AI. Although AI can replace humans in some AREAS, some tasks that require creativity, decision making and other skills can not be done by AI. Therefore, people should develop EXPERTISE in their profession in the future to mitigate the risk of unemployment. Also, AI should be a welcoming development in the AI data era instead of deeming it as a threat of information privacy. The government can publish strict regulations and policies, like how the EU and the US pended the new rules to prevent crimes of data leaks annually
