In this digital era, the popularity of online shopping will lead to the end of high street shops. Personally, I completely disagree with this idea because people always need to be sure that the items they purchase are the ones that they want, and also it is a nice method to spend some time on weekends.
On the one hand, one of the primary reasons the shopping in street never going to disappear, is that people want to check the item in details. A large proportion of customers interested about view, size, materials of the item they buy. In online shopping websites the cannot touch or be a hundred percent sure the truth of item detail that given in review section by seller. In contrast, the street shops gives an opportunity to check the item in all ways that customers want. For example, research show that a big percentage of people with obesity struggle to choose the right size of clouthes they purchase in online shops. Consequently, they choose street shops, because it is the best option for them to find an ideal size of fabrics.
On the other hand, another essantial reason the street shops would always be a part of human society, is because thr feeling of relaxing that they give. Some individuals after a hard week choose to rest by going through different shopping places such as shopping centers. Spending free time by walking in malls, sellecting or comparing different items, speaking with other people there can distract people from the problems that they have in their life. For instance, researsh say that women with a big number of children are more likely to spend their weekends in the street shops in order to get away from house work and relax for a little, which leads to deacrese of stress level.
In conclusion, although the online shopping had increse in recent years, it will result in the end of street shops. I strongly belive that, people want to observe the item that can be done only in street shops, and also spending also helps to avoid strees problems and relax.
