These days, it can be commonly observed that people tend to argue what type of shopping is better online or on the street. While some individuals say that online shopping due to its advantages will cause the end of street shops, I strongly believe that physical shopping in order to buy clothes or various items will never be replaced by buying through the web.
On the one hand, purchasing things online is convenient because people do not need to commute. Moreover, it gives an ability to order everything without thinking about the time, when the shop opens or closes. Additionally, most shops provide a wider range of clothes and sizes through their web sites, while in physical stores individuals often have difficulty finding the right size due to low stock.
On the other hand, many consumers still prefer the sensory experience of shopping in person, especially when buying items like clothes, electronics, or cosmetics. In-store shopping allows people to see, touch, and try products, which offers reassurance about quality and suitability – something that online shopping cannot fully replicate. Furthermore, physical shopping offers changing rooms in order to help the consumer choose the right size as well as see whether selected clothes are suitable. Moreover, stores frequently organize sales where a person could save up to 70%.
In conclusion, while online shopping will continue to grow, I am convinced that street shops will not disappear. Though purchasing online has its own advantages such as a bigger range of clothes and sizes and being independent of time, physical stores offer unique benefits that are connected with fittings, sales and sensory experiences that are difficult for e-commerce to replace.
