Besides main subjects such as Mathx, Vietnamese, English, Chemist,… which subjects students have to focus on study. However, in modern education schools, they want to eliminate some subjects like music and art out of curriculum in most schools. For a variety of reasons, schools claim two subjects do not help students develop their future and most parents in Southeast Asia and Asia share the same view that they want their children to focus more on natural or social subjects.
In my opinion, I completely disagree with this view because I see no reason why two arts should be eliminated. Firstly, students will not be able to draw their thoughts and will not expand their inherent imagination. If art is eliminated, students won’t be able to relieve stress after school and enjoy drawing. Secondly, art is a compulsory subject in the entrance exam to schools of architecture and design.
As for music, it is the color of the country so this is a subject that should not be abandoned . The colors of music from many times that students do not hear make them think that our country does not have its own music. Music is not only a subject but also a stress reliever and is also a common point that most people have their own preferences for music.
In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I strongly believe that the Ministry of Education shouldn’t let schools eliminate these two subjects. Those two subjects are a subject for students to learn and develop their art as well as unlock their talents.
