Number of people believe that the parents who choose private education for their children shouldn’t have to pay taxes to fund the public education system. I completely disagree with this statement because it will increase inequality among rich and poor and it will bring negative effects on society.
One of the major reasons why I disagree with this statement is that those who send their children to private schools will spread differentiation among learners. Although, there are already many big differences between private schools and public schools, especially in the education quality. Private schools have better education systems with good faculty and a lot of facilities available. These are the factors that escalate the imbalance among students of private and public sectors. For example, a survey conducted by an international committee on the number of schools both for public and private institutes showed that the government’s current tax system can help to improve this inequity problem.
Another significant reason why I disagree with this statement is that it will bring a number of drawbacks. It suggested that the tax system will lose some parts of its function. It will also create difficulties for poor who are unable to support their child’s education while on the other side rich individuals are free from this kind of law. For instance, the government will face numerous challenges because of the reform they will try to finance their funds through people who also lack money.
To sum up, the tax system loses its purpose and it will cater for economic issues. Moreover, the spreading of unfairness will make them feel inferior while every individual regardless of their background deserves quality education.
