The table and charts illustrate the figure for the police budget for 2017 and 2018 in one area of Britain.
It is clear to know from the first table that the budget for the national goverment was the most cost source at around 175.5 million in 2017, followed by local taxes and other sources including grants at 91.2 million and at 38 million respectively. There maintains a similar pattern when it comes to the data in 2018, nation goverment has spended the most police buget with a sligtly increased number of 177.8 . Local taxes shows a great upward trend to its number of 102.3, still securing its second position among all the 3 sources. The budget for other resource kept a stable pattern in 2018, which number was only increase 0.5 million.
From the second chart ,we can easily know that ,when it comes to how the money was distributed, salaries acounted for 75% , followed by building & transport and technology at 17% and 8% respectively in 2017. A year later, the percentage of salaries decline to 69%, witnessing the proportion of technology increased to 14% . Interestingly, the figure for building and transport remained stable during this year.
To summary , the table and chart all show the distinct patterns including stability, decline and increase about the where the money came from and how it was distributed.
