As seen from the charts, teachers’ salaries made up the largest running cost of thisschool in the three years, but the figure was unstable, rising from two-fifths to half inthe first decade before decreasing to 45% in 2001. The second largest part wasshared by other workers’salaries, the expenses for which witnessed a dramaticdownward trend from 28% to 15%
Meanwhile, the spending on resources and on furniture equipment were the same in1981, both covering 15% of the total budget. However, the former rose slightly to20% in 1991, followed by a steep fall to 9% in 2001. In contrast, the latter declinedsignificantly to 5% in the first decade, which was replaced by a considerable growthto 23% in the final year. On the other hand, the outlay on insurance witnessed asteady growth from 2% to 8%, but it still constituted a minority of the overallexpense.
Overall, staffs salaries was the dominant spending of the particular school while thecost on furniture and equipment exceeded that on resources in 2001.
