By the year 2050, it is argued that the traditional teaching style, which involves a teacher and students in the class, will disappear. I totally disagree because this teaching style is irreplaceable.
Initially, the new online teaching style does not necessarily guarantee the vanishing of the original one. Although at the beginning of online teaching decades ago, it was speculated that it will replace classroom teaching at all, but actually within few years people realize the importance of face to face interaction between teachers and students, making classroom teaching integral part of schools and universities. For instance, a well-known global university apply as limited as 10 percent of lectures online.
Second, online teaching lacks crucial parts in the communication process. There is no body language and gestures, thus the efficiency of communication declines as the majority of the message received through body language. A recent research showed that online teaching negatively affected the outcomes of teaching process, students results showed a significant reduction in grades compared with classroom teaching .
In conclusion, it is not possible nore plausible that typical teaching situation of a teacher and students in the class will not exist in the future.
