In several parts of the world, there is currently a high air pollution levels are growing annually. This essay will discuss the main reasons of this issue and then describe the possible effects of the problem.
In my point of view, the foremost causes of deterioration of air quality are industrial waste and vehicle emissions. Nowadays factories around the entire globe are becoming larger and larger with each passing year which is why reason they work non-stop and burn coal another fossil fuels and as a result of which they release smoke into the atmosphere. For example, many manufacturing cities suffer from heavy smog due to unchecked industrial waste. Moreover, more and more people rely on personal cars which burn fossil fuels and release harmful exhaust fumes into the atmosphere.
The possible effects of this problem include respiratory diseases and global warming. First of all, respiratory problems results in breathing harmful exhaust fumes and contributes to the risk of developing fatal lung illness. For example, the number of children suffering from asthma in vast cities has increased significantly in recent years. Furthermore, air pollution exacerbates global warming, which in turn leads to severe climate changes. For instance, high levels of emissions trap heat in the atmosphere, causing polar ice caps to melt.
In conclusion, rising air pollution is a critical issue mainly caused by industrial emissions and vehicle fumes, and it might bring serious impacts on human health and the planet.
