Money is a useful means for individuals to live a comfortable life. When individuals have a respectful annual salary, they can plan plenty of things, which, maybe, they could not afford otherwise. Having some money to spend in hobbies, trips, meetings with friends, shopping, and in general everything else apart from the everyday life costs, brings joy to a person. Moreover, money could be useful in improving the life status of an individual, giving the opportunity to have better education, to study in better universities and follow their dream career afterwards. Moreover, through money a person and in particular a parent can offer their kids the best life they can, which brings, in my opinion, the ultimate happiness.
On the other hand, some people believe that “money is the root of evil”. Even if this statement seems to be reasonable to some, my opinion is that when someone uses money wisely, no harm can be done. Without a doubt, people possessing a lot of money do a lot of unreasonable actions, such as being mean to others, feeling superior, buying useless stuff which may be harmful to the environment etc. However, when individuals use money wisely, not only can provide to their family as mentioned before, but also to the community through donations for example. That way, there is stability between the parts of a community and problems such as poverty, crime, homelessness can be diminished.
All in all, money can be proven harmful when someone does not use them with consistency, but on the contrary could be a helpful source to improve an individual’s life and also the function of the whole community.
