In contemporary society, we can see that there is a huge demand in profession like engineering, scientific and teaching field. Some reasons can be technological advancements, increase in diseases and need for experts to guide younger generation.
In modern society, our entire lives revolve around technologies. Without our smartphones and laptops most of us would be completely lost. That is how much power these technologies have over us. This increase in consumption of modern technologies create a huge demand for computer science engineers and electronic and communication engineers. Additionally, environmental problems which we encounter today is far higher than it was ever witnessed. These changes create need for environmental scientists with innovative ideas and strategies, who can help us tackle issues we face. Also, there is surge in demand for teachers especially for subjects like math and science. Mainly because, nowadays most of the parents are encouraging their children to choose science field.
On the other hand, arts fields such as music and dance are also seeing a huge spike. This is because parents are giving more freedom to their children’s choices rather than forcing them do to something else. Nevertheless, with increasing digitalization professions like engineering dominates other fields.
In conclusion, I believe that there is huge requirement for engineers, scientists and teachers than ever before. The main reason is technological enhancements. Also, it is most likely that above mentioned fields are technologically interconnected causing increase in demand.
