Nowadays, young people are less and less interested in manual jobs. This essay will delve into the causes for this trend and state my opinion that they should take part in agricultural jobs.
To begin with, there are several reasons why young people do not want to do manual jobs. Firstly, there are young people who hold a negative perception towards the farming profession because related work agriculture is often physically demanding and there is low income. For example, they work a long time outdoors below extreme weather conditions. Additionally, thanks to development of technology and economy in general, there are young people many chances work than is pursue intellectual job such as Information technology and advertising etc… As a result, these professions offer a higher salary and better working conditions.
On the other hand, there are several reasons the young should take part in agricultural jobs. The young apply technology to revolutionize the industry since they have the exposure to the evolution of technology. For instance, currently, we have an automatic irrigation system and harvester. Accordingly, it is highly efficient and labor-saving.
In conclusion, although young people still see negatives about farming professionals, I believe that the young are encouraged to work in farming work.
