From past to present, humans have yearned to live in an ideal society even when they haven’t believed in the definition of the perfect society. From my personal standpoint, I assume that peace is the most crucial factor to create an ideal society with all things considered due to several reasons.
To commence, there is no doubt that peace plays a vital role in maintaining a prosperous society. . For example, in the dim and distant past, Vietnamese people had to experience a great many fierce wars that subjected them to led them to fall into grief and desperation. However, Thanks to their predecessors’ sacrifice into exchange for peace, the young generation in Vietnam nowadays can live with joy and happiness. Besides, peace seems to be the primary element to create a cultivated society. It shows that if individuals and the government in a country make an endeavor to live in harmony with each other and protect peace, there will be less violations of law or social issues that may exert negative impacts on the nation’s development themselves.
In order to obtain a thriving society, there are 2 two major measures that people can take. One of the most effective ways is that they need to heighten their awareness of losing peace (this is not an effective and convincing measure because if people can be aware of the importance of peace themselves, what is the point of the question “What can people do to achieve an ideal society?”. In particular, by educating people about the severe damage that wars brought about to our world or by establishing setting several peacekeeping organizations like United Nations UNESCO, global citizens especially adolescents will be more conscious and even join hands to preserve the world’s peace. Another point worth mentioning is that students should put effort into their learning at school. There is a statement that “ Children are the future of each nation”, so it seems evident that youngsters need to study hard in order to make contributions to the protection of global peace.
In conclusion, I’m convinced that peace is so far the most integral element to gain an ideal society. Hence, mankind’s especially young generation are supposed to raise their awareness and focus on their studies to make our society become more secure and stronger.
