Parents should attend parenting and child development courses every year to improve children’s lives. In this essay, I will explain why I agree parents should attend parenting and child development courses every year to improve childrens’ lives.
Both mothers and fathers attending parenting and child development courses annually, would help them to improve childrens’ lives by giving parents a great knowledge about child development. When parents welcome children at home, it does not mean that they are all already having ideas, studied or know about child development to support their parenting skills. However, these courses would enable parents to have deeper comprehension about how to foster children and to improve their lives. For example, even giving basic knowledge about how children develop their growth in timeline would enable both mothers and fathers comprehension to guide children in positive ways because they will have ideas and clues in what to expect in the future, so that they would be prepared for child development events. Additionally, by organising these events each year would be ideal for parents to participate because it will support and remind parents to make sure what is happening in their parenting time.
Another reason why parents annually attend parenting and child development courses would improve their childrens’ lives is because parents will be able to build their confidence. It is important for mothers and fathers to grow their confidence while they are fostering children, so that they can guide their children with better ideas in positive ways with calm attitudes although it is hard for any parents to grow their confidence without any feedback. For instance, if parents have chances attending parenting and child development courses every year, they would be able to have feedbacks from different perspectives and this will help them to have a great confidence in what they are doing for children because when they are in the middle of their family surrounded with busy environments, they can be lost if they are taking right decisions to guide their children to improve their lives in the future. Clearly, annual participation for the course is ideal for parents to improve their children’s lives.
