It is widely acknowledged that health has evolved into a heated subject of debate. Some claim that mental health is just as vital as physical health. However, I completely disagree with this view.
First and foremost, it is undeniable that both mental well-being and physical health play an extremely crucial role in our lives, but actually mental health is more significant than the other. This is because mental health affects how human think, feel and act. It means being in a healthy state of mind where you are able to manage your emotions, stress, and anxiety and are able to recover from challenging situations. Conversely, if your mind is unstable, your physical health will also be affected. Stress, anxiety, and depression can lead to negative problems such as headaches, insomnia, or cardiovascular diseases.
In addition, another convincing justification for prioritizing mental health is ability to cope with challenges. When we are mentally healthy, we can easily face the difficulties in life. A strong mind helps us maintain a positive attitude and patience, which will help a lot in maintaining physical health.
In conclusion, with all the reasons mentioned above, it seems to me that mental health is more essential than physical health but I also believe that our body needs both mental health and physical health to function properly and let us live a happy and healthy life.
