It is prevailing that many parents nowadays do not spend as much time on their offspring as they used to. I firmly believe that there is a reason for this phenomenon and this situation hurts children compared to parents.
The chief catalyst behind this prevailing trend comes from the increase in time at the workplace. To support people’s professional lives, working full-time will open opportunities for promoting their permanent career path. Without their leisure time to work, perhaps their career is just treading water. However, this process may be predicted to be an assumption working under pressure such as stress out. As a result, they want to have enough time to relax and refresh instead of engaging with their children. Therefore, meeting the demand for success in professional life will lead to a hectic schedule in the workplace and little time for their child.
This situation would have detrimental drawbacks for young individuals by far. Firstly, due to the busy life of a father or mother, they usually do not pay attention to their children. Granted, as a child, they always find love and care from their parents, which will be a great stimulus for their development. Regarding this development, many examinations have shown that children whose time is spent mostly with their parents have more happiness emotionally and do better perform than those who do not. By giving their kids less time, parents are destroying the most vital motivation, which directly affects children’s achievements by themselves. Consequently, this unwise action may cause mental injury and social behavior in young ones in the future. As this serious impact, parents should be advised to spend more of their leisure time engaging with their offspring.
In conclusion, my essay has mentioned the drawbacks of whether parents spend inadequate time with their kids because of their busy lives in the workplace.
