There is no denying the fact that, nowadays, advertisement has significance contribution in companies’ sales, which is leading to higher profit better than depending on people actual interest to purchase some products. While it is a commonly held belief that, buyers may be purchase what is actual in need, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that marketing is the best way to increase the sales.
To begin with, advertisement enhances sales drastically which help the sellers to reach annual profit target easily. In other words, advertisement is becoming the easiest option to reach to many homes via Mobile SMS , TV & Newspaper marketing. In addition, there are many companies recently have established sales department with dedicated sales representatives to boost the sales of their organization. For example, Pepsi company is paying around 3 million Dollars per year to Ronaldo football player for their product advertisement in television, as a result Pepsi sales has been increased 50 % in the same year.
Another point to consider, social media nowadays is playing a crucial role in business. It is also possible to say that, it boosts the Proft margin of many supermarkets and restaurant, as based on previous visitor’s experience, we can get the feedback which is considered as indirect marketing.
Moreover, many shops would like to hear from customer after visiting their shops as this feedback may improve the sales gradually. For instance, I have purchased phone from Extra showroom, then on the next day I have received cal from customer service, they were asking me about my experience.
In conclusion, despite people having different views, I believe that to achieve sales targets, we should focus more on marketing.
