Band 4: Topic: It is better for college students to live in schools then living at home with their parents. Do you agree or disagree? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Many people claimed that it is better for college students to live in schools than live in at home with their parents. This essay strongly disagree with this suggestion for several reasons.

the first argument given to support my opinion is that living at school can limit time that univesity students spend on outdoor activities, which they can suffer with many mental health problems. the reason for this problem is that schools can impose a strict rule on students that they can only join outdoor activities few hours a day, which means that many students who are passionate with outdoor activities can feel boring because they can not play their favorite activities after their study and sometimes can lead to negative thinking about study,… .for example many schools in the big city don’t allow their students to play sports over 2 hours a day, thereby put the pressure on their students and students sometimes feel tired because of lacking outdoor activities. School can have many strict rule related to the time that college students can spend on their outdoor activities, which means that students who live at school can have many disadvantages.

Another point behinds my belief is that university students living at school can not regularly interact with their parents, which means that they can face many problem related to emotions and loves. when students live at school, they only come back to visit their parent in weekends and special occasions like Tet, independence Day. As a result, they usually feel alone because of lacking closed peple to share what they feel, especially, when they suffer from pressure on classes. The evidence for this is that students of boarding school usually miss their home and struggle with the pressure on classes but having no one to share. This can lead to illness associated with emotion, especially, is depression. Residing in school sometimes have many negative effects on students, which can lead to psychological problem.

In conclusion, I totally disagree that the suggestion of living at school is better than living at home among college students give the aforementioned arguments.
