Nowadays, high technologies are developed so fast. Everyone wants to make convenience for themselves and modern technologies help them a lot. Almost everywhere, where people can study, we can see computers, smartphones and DVDs . This essay will be about how high tech media would be useful for librarians work, and why I personally agree with that.
Firstly, young generation accustomed using phones everywhere, and for this reason, government give them chance to develop, and it’s also should be provided in libraries or places where people can studying. There are many factors for decreasing paper books, one of them, is that: If suddenly will start fier, all books can to burn and after this lost all information, money and customers; however digital content can easily copied and save in different various platforms.
Secondly, each of us remembers information differently, and one of the most famous way to do this, listening and watching videos, instead of reading books and remember only 30-40% of information. Good example for this, me 2 week ago. We have school project , and we need to find something about ancient Greeks, for doing this I visited local library, read many books and remember only 10-20 % of information which I need. However I didn’t give up and continue to find information and sources on You Tube, and finally, I remembered almost everything and even many interesting facts. So, people nowadays are more like to study from high tech media rather than books.
In conclusion, books provide a lot of benefits to readers, but now it’s not a time for old fashioned ways. For this reason libraries should develop and spend a little bit more money for high tech media and adapt to choice and modern changes
