Nowadays due to increased tourism over the past five decades, society believes that visitors affect their own region (hometown, country, e.g.). And people have two different perspectives: one part of society is confident about adverse impact on citizens and the environment. However, others find tourism in their region beneficial for the economy. This essay will discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of tourism before presenting my own perspective.
Focusing on mainly negative affections, tourism has these kinds of consequences. On most occasions tourists are lazy and quite contemptuous to the region where they are. This action may affect other inhabitants (crowds of people, increase in prices, and other), and ecosystems (air, water and earth pollution, destroying environment, decreasing number of species). For instance, after huge events in the city, most parts of the town are messy. Getting rid of it takes a long time.
Turning to increased tourism is advantageous for the region. First of all, a large number of visitors is beneficial for the economy of this region. Due to this, prices will hike, and entrepreneurs and city authorities have additional income. This money can be helpful for the city, and people. Overmore, beautiful visuals of the city may develop tourism there. For example, the economy of a country increases after concerts of famous singers or groups, like Taylor Swift or Imagine Dragons.
From my perspective, both opinions are right to some extent. On the one hand, crowds, and high-price are bad for native inhabitants. On the other hand, developing the city and supporting the economy can be more useful for the region.
