It is a common belief that turism is always a good force that enables people from diverse comunities to understand each other. While I think that for the most part, turism is a net positive, I think that there are some rare cases where it turns into a negative for example, when people do not respect their visiting destinations and start to litter or destroy important structures.
On the one hand, turism can have many positive effects, ranging from growing diversity in comunties to contributing to the rise of economy. In my opinion it is extreamly important that people from different comunities travel to other countires, get to know their culture, traditions and way of thinking. I consider isolation between countries or any groups of people to be the soul reason for conflicts and dissegrements, this is why I belive that traveling in other countries and getting to know their culture is extreamly important, that is whan we start seeing the people in other countires instead of just flags with different ideals.
At the same time, there could be some drawbacks to turism. These drawbacks could be in the form of littering or distruction of structures. For example there have been many cases of hight trafic cities becoming littered beond recongision, to futher understand this problem, we can look at cities what have hosted festivals where in many cases, the cities and especially the areas where the concerts where held had been littered or destroyed by turists.
In conclusion, turism can have teriffic benefits to the growth of comunities world wide and the economys of individual countries, but it is impoertant that everything is held at a high standard and people are filled with respect towards each other and the places they are visiting
