In today’s life tourism has become a significant industry in many societies, since it has crucial advantages like developing the economy and creating new jobs for citizens.
Nowadays, it is not surprising that in many communities, the government invests a notable amount on tourist attractions and tries to enhance the urban well-being (as it is necessary for a healthy country) to rise the fascination of tourists, since above all, tourism generates revenue. The total money received by this industry in some societies sometimes exceeds the Gross National Product of many other countries. Moreover, by earning foreign exchange without any actual financial loss, it affects positively on the economy. (sometimes travelers spend so much more on their traveling destination than their own city.)
Furthermore, tourism requires lots of services which lead to creator of new jobs or to extending them; hotels and their workers for instance. when the demand is high, the more job seekers would be employed or new hotel buildings might be built that by causing an escalation on employment, it declares the poverty and thus, the crime range. On the other hand, tourism gives the chance to human to get to know other cultures and languages while they move and mingle in the city.
To sum up, I think tourism is one of the most growing industries at the time, which planning and investing in it can be so much beneficial for both people and the leaderships, to the point where we can admit it has become an essential responsibility of the government to plan for it. Considering all sides, underestimating this business can cause the loss of power and diminish the GNP of the countries.
