Some people believe that traditional or religious festivals have been forgotten and these festivals serve as an opportunity of enjoyment. While I agree that people in this modernized world want to take festivals to relax, I believe that there are people who still recall the significance of these festivals.
On the one hand in these days people finding festivals as a great occasion to enjoy. They often will be gathered at home with their relatives to celebrate such events like Christmas. At Christmas everyone will be delighted by giving and receiving presents from each other. Also, children will have wonderful impressions with gifts and decorating their houses. People could also take relaxation in Harvesting festival, which occurres in autumn. There, people will fulfill their satisfaction by eating what they have harvested with their family.
On the other hand, there are plenty people who remember traditional and religious events. We can take Uzbek people as an instance, since they celebrate conventional festivals which initially invented in ancient times. The entire country will celebrate Navruz festival by wearing their traditional clothes and all women cooking several types of scrumptious food. They do it in order not to lose cultural values and traditions. It is considered that the cultures can teach us a lot more than we know, elegance, respect and others. In addition to this, providing that we recollect our ancestors’ good features, our generation will do it for us.
In conclusion, despite people reveal their interests in enjoyment of festivals, they are still not indifferent to the conventional and religious value of them.
