There has been much debate about whether students should study higher education or school subjects will be enough to get a good job in future.Although I acknowledge that university gives career oriented knowledge, I completely agree that people can educate about their job in the modern technologies, like Youtube and Instagram as well as university require a lot of payments.
Many people believe university education is essential for a student’s development. Schools teach general knowledge but students who are educated at university, learn specific subjects. As some professions require practical and theoretical skills at the same time including medicine, engineering, and etc. For example, medicine students learn anatomy, chemistry and biology and they need practical experience in the hospital. Therefore, university helps graduates to get great jobs in the future.
However I believe that finishing school is enough to get a job.Nowadays, a lot of people have diplomas but they don’t have jobs in their fields. So graduating from school is enough because they don’t have to pay any tuition to study. If graduates don’t study at university, they can educate in online networks such as Youtube, Duolingo and Telegram. For instance, in 2025, 34.8% of internet users in the European Union took online courses or used online learning materials. Thus, school graduates can find job opportunities without spending money.
In conclusion, although teachers teach harder at university, I think finishing school is enough to find a job because people can develop their abilities through online platforms without any payment.
