Some people belive that education at university doesn’t have to be free for students, because firstly it useful for future graduates and only secondly it is beneficial for society. If we talk about my opinion, I don’t have clear position on this topic. I think, part of profession valuable for society must be free, but another part of profession should be for payment.
On the one hand, when we think about social vital specialist, firstly we mean a doctor, a teacher, a policeman and other. And I believe exactly this profession skill necessary for survival of country. Also a bit ironic, a job in government structure or another crucial for society structure always connected to big responsibility. Usually is responsibility on human lives, like students future. I clearly believe that such work is a government problem and education for those professions first and foremost the responsibility of the government.
On the other hand, there are many other professions in the world, sich as artist, designer, writer. It is also crucial for society, but it doesn’t connected to survival, more to a culture development. Often such specialists have more safe work, without hard physical labor or high level of responsibility. And on my opinion education in those situations shouldn’t be free.
For the reason above, I believe that all profession are significantly, but from the perspective of society survival, some profession more important. So we should give specialist in those area a free education, whereas other profession should stay for payment.
