Nowadays, television is an indispensable part of everyone’s daily life, especially students. It is very useful in providing learning information as well as entertainment after stressful school hours. I agree with this point of view because watching television too much will make you not want to study and affect your learning results.
First, students who watch a lot of TV will become addicted and focused on their favorite movies, TV shows or programs. From then on, they no longer want to study or do homework to focus on entertainment on TV.Then their studies will decline.
Second, watching too much TV will lead to bad health effects, causing eye or nerve diseases due to close contact with the TV, moreover, it will affect bad posture, the back will be hunched, the ability to concentrate will also be reduced. When there are bad health problems, we will not be healthy enough to study. Students will feel tired and lethargic after many hours of focusing on the TV.
However, not all TV programs are harmful. There are educational programs that can help us improve our knowledge about society. But the important thing is that students must know how to filter out channels that are not beneficial to themselves. In addition, after stressful study hours, students can spend about 1-2 hours to reduce stress and entertain themselves.
In conclusion, television is not entirely bad. If students know how to use it and divide their study and entertainment time reasonably, it will help them improve their knowledge about society. Then, their study results will not be affected and their psychology will be relaxed after stressful hours at school.
