Nowadays a sufficient share of students prefers to study abroad. This has a range of pluses and minuses.
Firstly, we will discuss the pluses of this experience. When a person makes a decision to move to another country, mainly he or she thinks about their future career. There are a lot of purposes for these thoughts. For instance, someone does not like conditions in his local university, quality of education, low scholarship, dormitories without renovation or something else. On another hand, a person can dream about living in this country or like the culture of this country. Consequently, as a result a student enters a university abroad in order to, for example, improve language skills or meet favourite attractives. Overall, study abroad can help you gain more qualificated education in the best conditions and also allows you to be introduced into new cultural environment.
Secondly, we will note the disadvantages of studying in another country. The major problem is language barrier. It can be strikingly difficult to overcome this. Also, you can face strange demands from surrounding people. Clearly, when you have just moved, you are not aware of all the rules, laws and traditions of the new country. To overcome these obstacles you should be able to deal with your feelings. Additionally, it is possible to have a strong sadness because you are alone. You should keep in mind that you will be far away from your family and will not have a lot of opportunities to meet them due to studying.
Finally, I can conclude that studying abroad can give you a chance to improve your career and make your dream about another country real. However, different psychological problems related to adaptation or sadness about home occur rather frequently.
