There are differences for those working in the city and the country. Some may say that it is better to work and live in the country while others prefer the color of the city life. In this essay, I will discuss benefits and drawbacks of both sides.
There can be both advantages and disadvantages when working in the countryside. One of the benefits includes having a peaceful environment as workers get to live by nature and do not have to deal with a lot of people like in the city. Moreover, the cost of living here is going to be significantly cheaper than the town, which will be beneficial for those workers who do not have a high salary. However, the negative consequences are the lack of opportunities and connections to other people since you will not be able to meet new colleagues or gain some great new working opportunities. Additionally, most people who work in the countryside usually earn less salary than in the city.
Working in the city could also have some drawbacks. For example, life in the city is extremely chaotic and busy due to the high population therefore, this can increase the level of stress of the workers which will provide a negative impact to the overall health and well-being. One of the concerns is the cost of living in the town is sometimes overly high which means that you will have to spend most of the salary on transportation, food, rent, or etc. Even though the city might have some disadvantages, I still prefer to work here. The reasons for my decision are that working and living in the city provides more opportunities to meet new people, therefore, it enables me to gain more experience on how to deal with different kinds of people. Furthermore,
It is convenient since you will have access to almost every public transport that is usually faster and easier, which can reduce the traveling time from your accommodation to the workplace.
To conclude, both working in the city and the country have advantages and disadvantages which depend on the preferences of the individuals.
